This year picking my favourite games was a bit more difficult.. and I still missed many great ones but here are some of my personal favorites from this year + why they stood out:

๐ƒ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ž๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ : A charming blend of cozy RPG adventuring, dungeon puzzles, and beautiful Alpine backdrops. Developed by a wonderful team in Austria โ™ก Microbird Games

๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‹๐ž๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐™๐ž๐ฅ๐๐š: ๐„๐จ๐–: Another masterpiece with unusual graphics but such an unique game mechanic.

๐€๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Œ๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ: ๐‘๐ž๐ญ๐จ๐ฅ๐: A stunning remaster of the classic RTS with updated visuals and smoother gameplay bringing back ALL the memories.

๐…๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ง๐ค ๐Ÿ: A (literally) chilling city-builder where survival meets tough moral decisions in a frozen wasteland. Another masterpiece by the This War of Mine makers.

๐๐š๐ญ๐ก ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐„๐ฑ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž ๐Ÿ: An ARPG with (very) deep skill customization, revamped visuals, and an expanded, gritty world and can be quite challenging but super interesting. Grinding Gear Games

๐‹๐š๐ฌ๐ญ ๐„๐ฉ๐จ๐œ๐ก: A time-traveling action RPG with endless loot and a flexible class system. Great environment and story and interesting boss fights.

๐๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐จ: A roguelike deck-builder with a quirky sense of humor and surprising depth. Solo Developer gold.

๐’๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐‡๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐Ÿ: A hauntingly beautiful remake of the psychological horror classic. Nothing to add here.
